30. Presentation by the Federal Minister of Arts and Culture, Constitution and the Media concerning the scope of the Convention pursuant to Article K.3 (2) (c) of the Treaty on European Union on the fight against corruption, to of officials of the European Communities or of Member States of the European Union

According to the note by the Secretary-General of the Council of the European Union, the Convention is based on Article K.3 (2) (c) of the Treaty on European Union on the fight against corruption, to which officials of the European Union are communities or of the Member States of the European Union (BGBl. III No 38/2000, as last amended by BGBl. III No 49/2014) by decision of the Council of the European Union of 15 June 2014. Jänner 2016 for Croatia 1 entered into force on 1 February 2016.

According to a further note by the Secretary-General of the Council of the European Union of 30 July 2015, Croatia has expressed the following reservations about the Convention:

On Article 7 (1) of the Convention:

In accordance with Article 7 (2) of the Convention, the Republic of Croatia declares that the provisions relating to jurisdiction under Article 7 (1) (1) of the Convention shall be declared. (d) not to be applied to the Convention.

On Article 10 (1) of the Convention:

In accordance with Article 10 (2) of the Convention, the Republic of Croatia declares that in the cases referred to in Article 10 (2) (2) of the Convention, (a), (b) and (c) of the Convention shall not be bound by the provisions of Article 10 (1) of the Convention.
