Law 27332

Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Nation.

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

Article 1-State intangible cultural heritage, in the terms established by law 26.118, of ratification of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, to the celebration of the National Party International del Poncho, which is held annually in the province of Catamarca.

ARTICLE 2 °-State intangible cultural heritage, in the same terms as those laid down in Article 1 of this Law, the uses, representations, expressions, knowledge and ancestral techniques, transmitted from generation, relative to the yarn and handcrafted fabric of fibres from native animal species, vicuña, llama, alpaca and guanaco.

ARTICLE 3-The Executive Branch, through the implementing authority it designates, shall carry out in a special way the identification, documentation, research, preservation, protection, promotion, valorization, transmission and revitalization of the intangible cultural heritage as stated in Article 2 of this Law, through formal and non-formal teaching.

Article 4 °-The Executive Branch will promote actions on its own and in conjunction with the Government of the Province of Catamarca for the implementation of this law.

ARTICLE 5 °-Commune to the national executive branch.

GIVEN IN THE SESSION HALL OF THE ARGENTINE CONGRESS, IN BUENOS AIRES, AT THE TWENTY-THREE DAYS OF THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER OF THE YEAR TWO THOUSAND SIXTEEN.
