Single Certificate of Disability. Rights card for persons with disabilities.

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. DUTY TO REPORT ON THEIR RIGHTS AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY OF THE DISABILITY CERTIFICATE.

Article 1-The national state, through the National Advisory Commission for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities or the body that will replace it in the future, will be responsible for the development of a rights card for persons with disabilities. disability. This booklet must provide a summary, clear and accessible information to persons with disabilities of their fundamental rights under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the specific laws in force in this field. as well as the mechanisms to demand compliance.

Article 2-At the time of the delivery of the Single Disability Certificate, the corresponding evaluating Board shall also provide the person with disabilities with the card of rights referred to in the previous article. In addition, the place where the board is operated must display a 40 cm x 30 cm sign with the following caption: " The State is obliged to inform people with disabilities about their rights. Demand your information card. " This legend should also be presented in accessible formats, including Braille, sign language and increased or alternative communication formats.

Article 3-National bodies with specific competence in the field of disability are obliged to publish on their websites the rights card referred to in Article 1 in a digital and accessible format, renewing the publication when the National Advisory Commission for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities updates it and notifies those bodies accordingly. The National Advisory Commission for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities may request other organizations to collaborate in the dissemination of this booklet on their websites.

ARTICLE 4 °-Include in the national budget the items necessary for the printing of the bill of rights for persons with disabilities.
