Decree No 1.584/2010. Amendment. Sanctioned: June 08 2016 Enacted: June 09 2016

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

Article 1-Amend Decree 1.584/2010 and incorporate it as a national holiday and non-working day in the entire territory of the Nation on June 17 of each year, in commemoration of the passage to the immortality of General Don Martin Miguel de Guemes.

Article 2 °-The Executive Branch of the Nation, through the relevant agencies, will develop dissemination actions to promote reflection on the personality of national procer Don Martin Miguel de Guemes and his gesta in defense of the freedom and independence of the country, by appropriate means and in good time and in advance.

ARTICLE 3-This law shall enter into force from the day following that of its publication in the Official Gazette.

ARTICLE 4 °-Commune to the national executive branch.

GIVEN IN THE SESSION HALL OF THE ARGENTINE CONGRESS, IN BUENOS AIRES, ON THE EIGHT DAYS OF JUNE OF THE YEAR TWO THOUSAND SIXTEEN.
