PUBLIC PASSENGER TRANSPORT

Ratify the transfer to the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires of the Services of Underground Transport and Premetro. Sanctioned: March 28, 2012 Enacted: April 4, 2012

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

Article 1-ratifies the transfer to the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires of the Services of Underground Transport and Premetro arranged in the framework of the Laws Nros. 23.696 and 24.588 and its modifications and of the Decrees Nros. 2608 of 22 of December 1993, 1527 of 29 August 1994 and 393 of 21 April 1999, which was accepted by the Government of the City by Law 373 sanctioned on 11 May 2000 and ratified by the Act Agreement held on 3 January 2012 between the national state and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

Article 2-It is up to the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires to exercise exclusively the competence and supervision of public passenger transport services, underground and premeter; motor and tramway transport benefit corresponds to the territory of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

Article 3-It is to be found that within the period provided for in Article 5 of the Act of 3 January 2012, the culmination of the transfer process referred to in Article 1 of this Law shall be effective.
