Institute on August 24 as "Reader's Day", in commemoration and homage to the day of the birth of Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges. Sanctioned: June 27, 2012 Enacted: July 25, 2012

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

Article 1-Institute on the 24th of August of each year as "Reader's Day", in commemoration and homage to the day of the birth of the Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges.

Article 2-To instruct the National Executive Branch to carry out this date of acts of dissemination of the reading and recognition of the work and the trajectory of Borges, as an unavoidable figure of the national and universal literature.

Article 3-Invite the provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires to adhere to this law.
