The Bacil de Calmette and Guerin (BCG) vaccine for the paediatric population of the national territory was incorporated into the Maternal Maternal Plan. Sanctioned: November 21, 2012 Enacted In Fact: December 13, 2012
The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:
Article 1-Incorporation to the Maternal Maternal Plan comprised in the Mandatory Medical Program of the Argentine Republic-Resolutions of the Ministry of Health 201/02 and 1991/05 and amending and complementary rules-the Bacil de Calmette vaccine and Guerin (BCG) for the paediatric population of the national territory.
ARTICLE 2-The provisions of this law cover newborns before the discharge of public, private and social works maternity, according to the national vaccination calendar.
ARTICLE 3-Estimate that, if there is any contraindication for which the BCG vaccine has not been received, it will be extended to indicate the reason for non-application as normalized by article 13 law 22,909.
Article 4-It will be the enforcement authority in the national jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health of the Nation, and in each of the jurisdictions the respective health authorities.
ARTICLE 5-This law shall enter into force from the ninety (90) days of its publication.
Article 6-Contact the national executive branch.
