Extension benefit agreed by Law 25,869. Amendment. Sanctioned: April 24, 2013 Enacted In Fact: May 20, 2013

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

Article 1-Substitute Article 1 of Law 25,869 by the following:

Article 1: Everyone with hemophilia who, as a consequence of having received treatment with blood products between the years 1979-1995, would have been infected with Human Immunodeficiency Retrovirus (HIV), and Hepatitis B viruses (HBV) and Hepatitis C (HCV) shall have the right to receive the benefit established by this law. The agreed benefit will be extended to the spouse or concubine, with public and continuous coexistence of more than two (2) years, and who have been infected by them with the HIV virus, HBV and HCV. The benefit to the children of the beneficiaries who would have been infected by the HIV virus, HBV and HCV, by perinatal transmission, will also be agreed.
