Declare the Mate as a national infusion. Sanctioned: July 3, 2013 Enacted: July 30, 2013

The Senate and the Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

ARTICLE 1-Declare the Mate, as a national infusion.

ARTICLE 2-For the purposes of this law, the infusion prepared on the basis of the yerba mate food, which is placed in a container and wet with hot water, is beverage by means of a light bulb.

ARTICLE 3-It is available that in events and cultural, social or sports activities of an official nature that are foreseen in the national and international official agendas, the presence of the expression and logo of Mate National infusion and the promotion of this drink and its traditions.

ARTICLE 4-This law shall be regulated within a maximum period of ninety (90) days from its publication in the Official Gazette.

ARTICLE 5 °-Commune to the national executive branch.

GIVEN IN THE SESSION HALL OF THE ARGENTINE CONGRESS, IN BUENOS AIRES, ON THE THREE DAYS OF JULY OF THE YEAR TWO THOUSAND THIRTEEN.
