Article 1 ° - this law aims to create the national system of school libraries and units of educational information in the framework of the prescribed in the law on national education 26.206.
Article 2 °-the Council Federal of education will establish the integration of the system, must be formed by them networks of libraries school, files school, centers of documentation and of information educational, libraries pedagogical and museums of school, units dedicated to the management of the information and the knowledge and to the preservation of the heritage school, within the system educational in their different levels and modalities , of management state and private, in all the provinces and of the city autonomous of Buenos Aires.
Article 3 ° - the Ministry of education of the nation, through the National Library of teachers, will be the authority for application of this having in charge the coordination and articulation of the system, in accordance with jurisdictional agreements in force. The functions of coordination and joint of the system will be to charge of the address library national of teachers and will be them of training and update, assistance technical, monitoring and evaluation, and development of technologies for the standardization and normalization of the system. The national executive power assigned to the National Library of teachers necessary budget allocations for an adequate fulfilment of this law.
Article 4 ° - the purpose of the system is to generate actions for the integration of the information units in networks adequately managed in a cooperative framework, to ensure equality of opportunities and possibilities of access to information and the production of knowledge, in consensus with judicial education policy stakeholders in the educational community.
Article 5 ° - objectives of the system are: https://www.boletinoficial.gob.ar/pdf/linkQR/TjJrMzRBR0VPZFJycmZ0RFhoUThyQT09 a. establish and ensure the implementation of policies and strategic plans in relation to the management of information and knowledge in the educational system, framed within public policy and federal plans of economic, cultural, technical and scientific development to contribute to its strengthening. b. promote next jurisdictions actions to integrate several units of information in networks and subnets to local, regional and national levels, to extend their resources through the exchange of productions and cooperative services. c. promoting integration, systematization, conservation, legal protection, defence and dissemination of educational heritage. d. promote, encourage and optimise the permanent development of services library, archival, Museum and information, according to the cultural and linguistic diversity of the different communities that make up the educational system. e. to promote institutional action lines aimed at fostering critical and reflective reading in units of information of each educational community, as a way of understanding the reality of past and present at individual, social and cultural level in coordination with national and jurisdictional reading plans. f generate actions to broaden and deepen the competences for the search, use, knowledge, evaluation and production of information in different formats and media, as well as comprehensive reading comprehension ability. g promote the gradual professionalization and ongoing training of educational stakeholders in the management of the above-mentioned information units. h. foster and promote sustainable policies for the formation of the analogue and digital collections relevant to each unit of information collections. i. promoting the standardization of the technical processing of the materials according to national and international standards, and standards that allow the integration at federal, regional, and international networks of information units referred to in this law. j to preserve and organize the educational documentation qualitative and quantitative character legal, national and foreign, to meet the requirements of a specialized documentary advisory service to organisms that have to charge conduction and the research of education at different levels.
Article 6 ° - the creation or promotion of units of information referred to in this law, shall provide for the following conditions to its best performance: a. possess a documentary acquis relevant to its institutional specificity. b. organize funds according to the characteristics of the services and users of each unit of information. c. make available mechanisms for the dissemination of products, services and activities according to the needs and regulations of each of the networks and educational information units comprising them. d. have of a space own, proper, with furniture, equipment technological and connectivity relevant, according to the particularities of each unit of information and the needs of each jurisdiction. e have professional staff, technical and auxiliary commensurate with the objectives to be fulfilled by each unit of information.
Article 7 ° - school libraries must have the following conditions for proper operation, according to mode, level, enrollment and the number of sections of the school which serve: https://www.boletinoficial.gob.ar/pdf/linkQR/TjJrMzRBR0VPZFJycmZ0RFhoUThyQT09 a. own bibliographic and special materials selected according to its specificity and institutional dimension. b. having school librarians personal professional and technician. c. have adequate space for individual and group work allowing the Organization and sectorization of their different functions and services and activities around reading, training of users, research and extension to the community. d. count on technological equipment and adequate connectivity, as tool for the technical processing of the documentary through a relevant software, both for the search, selection, evaluation and production of knowledge by users of the educational community. e be open to the educational community in each shift or day of settlement covering the school hours.
Article 8 ° - the school files must have the following conditions for proper operation, according to mode, level, enrollment and the number of sections of the school which serve: a. having a documentary that allows to recover the diversity and complexity of the educational memory of his school. b. having specialist archivists and support staff and Assistant, according to the objectives to be fulfilled by the school records. c. have a suitable space allowing the development of various functions, activities and services of the archive. d. count with equipment technology and connectivity adequate, that serve of tool both for the processing technical of the Fund documentary through a software relevant, as for the search, description, selection, evaluation and production of knowledge from them users of the community educational. e create a broadcasting service based on the needs of users and of the community in the educational system.
Article 9 ° - the museums of schools must have the following conditions for proper operation: a. having historical material - pedagogical selected according to the institutional specificity. b. count with personal professional specialized, technical and auxiliary according to those objectives to meet by the museums of school. c. have adequate and spaces accessible to the consultation, teaching, research, and exhibition of their funds. d. count on technological equipment and adequate connectivity, which serve as a tool for the technical processing of the documentary through a relevant software, both for search, description, selection, evaluation and production of knowledge by users of the educational community. e be open to the community at times appropriate to the school. f create a broadcasting service based on the needs of users and of the community in the educational system.

by the territorial ministries of education. b. having documentalists and support staff and auxiliary commensurate with the objectives to be fulfilled by the educational information and documentation centres. c. have adequate space with infrastructure adapted to the needs of its operation. d. count with equipment technology and connectivity adequate, that serve of tool both for the processing technical of the Fund documentary through a software relevant, as for the search, description, selection, evaluation and production of knowledge from them users of the community educational. e create a broadcasting service based on the needs of users and of the community in the educational system.
ARTICLE 11. -Pedagogic libraries must have the following conditions for its proper functioning: a. possess specialized material to meet the needs of training and teaching updating of each educational community. b. having specialized librarians and technical and auxiliary personnel according to the objectives to be fulfilled by teaching libraries. c. have a suitable space allowing the development of various functions, activities and services. d. have adequate connectivity and technological equipment that facilitates the processes of research and knowledge production.
