COMMEMORATIONS

Law 27.002

National Youth Day. Sanctioned: October 22, 2014 Enacted in Fact: November 7, 2014

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

ARTICLE 1 °-Institutional on September 16 of each year as National Youth Day in commemoration of the so-called "Night of the Pencils".

Article 2 °-The Ministry of Education of the Nation, within the framework of the Federal Council of Education, will promote the incorporation of the date mentioned in the preceding article in the school calendar and will implement activities aimed at spreading among the students the knowledge and meaning of the commemoration.

Article 3-Invite the provincial educational jurisdictions and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires to adhere to this law for the same purposes as in Article 2.

ARTICLE 4 °-Commune to the national executive branch.
