National University of the Arts. Sanctioned: October 22, 2014 Enacted in Fact: November 7, 2014

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

ARTICLE 1-Transformer the National University Institute of Art -IUNA-, created by Decree 1.404/96 in Universidad Nacional de las Artes -UNA-, as a legal person governed by public law in the character provided for in Article 48 of Law 24,521, Higher Education.

Article 2 °-The National University of the Arts-A-, from the sanction of this law, will be the continuator of the National University Institute of Art -IUNA-, and will maintain the conformation, teaching and non-teaching staff and authorities of the itself.

Article 3 °-The National University of the Arts-UNA- will continue to be governed by the current internal regulations of the former National University Institute of Art (IUNA), being able to adapt its structure and status to the new status of University as determine the University Assembly.

ARTICLE 4 °-The movable and immovable property transferred to the former National University Institute of Art -IUNA-, as well as the rights and obligations of any nature that correspond to it, go on to integrate the patrimony of the National University of the Arts-A-. Records in which such goods, rights and obligations are eventually registered must, by means of the appropriate means, record the change of ownership of the register resulting from the transformation approved by this law.

Article 5-The budget allocated in the General Budget Law of the National Public Administration in force at the former National University Institute of Art-IUNA-automatically passes and in identical conditions to the National University of the Arts -UNA.

ARTICLE 6-Commune to the national executive branch.

GIVEN IN THE SESSION HALL OF THE ARGENTINE CONGRESS, IN BUENOS AIRES, AT THE TWENTY-TWO DAYS OF THE MONTH OF OCTOBER OF THE YEAR TWO THOUSAND FOURTEEN.
