Law 27.016

Hurlingham National University. Creation. Sanctioned: November 19, 2014 Enacted: December 02, 2014

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

ARTICLE 1 °-Create the National University of Hurlingham, which will have its headquarters in the Party of Hurlingham, province of Buenos Aires. This university will be subject to the legal regime applicable to national universities.

ARTICLE 2 °-The National University of Hurlingham shall be governed for its constitution and organization until its definitive normalization by the provisions of Articles 48 and 49 of the Law of Higher Education 24,521, in its regulatory and regulatory decree concordants in force for national universities.

ARTICLE 3 °-The academic offer of the National University of Hurlingham, according to the characteristics of the region, will guarantee the implementation of careers with insertion in the labor market, avoiding the overlap of offer at the level geographical and disciplinary with the universities installed in Greater Buenos Aires.

ARTICLE 4 °-The Ministry of Education shall designate one (1) Organising Rector who shall have the privileges conferred by Article 49 of the Law of Higher Education 24,521, and shall last in his office until such time as the authorities establishing the future status of the National University of Hurlingham.

Article 5-The national executive branch is empowered to manage and accept the government of the Province of Buenos Aires, the Municipality of Hurlingham and natural or legal persons, public or private, transfers, donations or legacies of movable and immovable property, which shall constitute the heritage of the National University of Hurlingham.

ARTICLE 6-The National University of Hurlingham, through the Ministry of Education, will be able to sign cooperation agreements with public and private agencies, national and international, aimed at their financing and any other activity related to their purposes.

This appropriation is intended to be used for the purposes of Article 1 (1) of Regulation (EU) No 19/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Parliament and of the Council [1].

ARTICLE 8 °-Commune to the national executive branch.
