Regime for the Promotion of Bovine Cattle Ranching in Arid And Semi-arid Zones. Creation. Sanctioned: December 10, 2014 Enacted: January 07, 2015

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

SCHEME FOR THE PROMOTION OF BOVINE ANIMAL HUSBANDRY IN ARID AND SEMI-ARID AREAS

Article 1-Create the Bovine Cattle Breeding Scheme in Aridas and Semiarid Zones in the framework of the Federal Plan of the Bicentennial of Livestock and Carnes of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation, resolution 24/2010, which is shall govern with the scope and limitations laid down in that rule, this law and the accompanying rules which the Executive Branch may in consequence dictate to achieve the improvement of productivity and the modernization of the systems of production, processing and marketing.

ARTICLE 2-The scheme created by the previous article aims to increase the supply of beef products and by-products from the whole of the national territory in the arid and semi-arid areas of the entire national territory to adequately supply the internal and external market, both in quality and quantity, improving the productive efficiency, commercial systems, information and competitiveness of the products and by-products business of the bovine species, preserving the balance The environmental impact of the

ARTICLE 3-For the purposes of this law and its regulations, all those that the implementing authority defines, based on recognized aridity indices, shall be considered arid and semi-arid zones for bovine livestock production.

Article 4 °-Create the Fund for the Promotion of Bovine Cattle Ranching in Aridas and Semiarid Zones as an additional item to the resources destined for the Federal Plan of the Bicentennial of Ganados and Carnes for an annual amount of one hundred million pesos ($ 100,000,000) the destination of which shall be solely for bovine livestock production in the arid and semi-arid areas defined in the preceding Article.

ARTICLE 5 °-Commune to the Executive Branch.
