Article 2 ° - created within the scope of the Ministry of agriculture, livestock and fisheries, the national programme for the study, promotion and development of Stevia.
(Article 3 °-the program national for the study, promotion and development of the Stevia will have by objectives: to) promote the features and benefits of the stevia; (b) advise in matters economic and technology to improve and diversify the production to scale industrial and craft; (c) promote the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises and cooperative organizations in the development of productive initiatives through the use of stevia as a raw material; (d) preserve the diversity, genetic original of the species Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni in those cultivars that spread the program; (e) generate greater value added in the production process of the stevia with appropriate technology; f) ensure a quality control system; (g) include stevia products in the food national plans; (h) promote and inform institutional level, national and international markets and the general public on the progress and developments of the value chain of stevia that are filling in the Argentina Republic, by different means of broadcasting or through organized campaigns to this effect; (i) coordinate with the jurisdictional authorities standards and recommendations phytosanitary and biosafety that are required for the care and safety of people, ecosystems and the environment in relation to these crops; (j) promote strategic alliances with agribusiness, foundations and others, thus also establish cooperation agreements with public and private national and international entities; (k) develop strategies for the marketing national and international for producers of stevia;

Article 6 °-the power Executive will have the split budget required for the financing of the program national for the study, promotion and development of the Stevia that is added to the budget of the Ministry of agriculture, livestock and fishing. Also the program may, through the signing of cooperation agreements, donations, subsidies and special funds of national and provincial institutions, whether public or private, as international organizations.
