ADOPTION OF THE MODIFICATIONS OF THE AGREEMENT CONCERNING POSTIAL ENCOMITIONS OF THE POSTAL UNION OF AMERICAS AND SPAIN.
BUENOS AIRES, March 10, 1944
ARTICLE 1. - To approve the modification of article 2, paragraph 2, of 4, and paragraph 2 of article 8, paragraph 1, of the Postal Commendations Agreement of the Postal Union of the Americas and Spain, resolved by the postal administrations that integrate it, which are drafted in the following form: "Article 3, paragraph 2: Up to 1 kilogram of more than 1 and up to 3 kilograms of more than 3 and more than 5 kilograms Article 4, paragraph 2: The ports of origin, transit and destination are fixed for each country, in gold or equivalent, as follows:
25 cents per encomienda up to 1 kilogram 40 centésimos per encomienda de más de 1 y hasta 3 kilograms 50 centésimos per encomienda de más de 3 y hasta 5 kilograms 100 centésimos per encomienda de más de 5 y hasta 10 kilograms 150 centésimos per encomienda de más de 10 y hasta 15 kilograms 200 centésimos per encomienda de más de 20 y 20 Article 8, paragraph 1, paragraph 2: The sender shall have the right to compensation equivalent to the actual amount of loss, subtraction or breakdown. This compensation may not exceed: 10 gold francs per shipment, up to the weight of 1 kilogram 15 gold francs per entrusts more than 1 kilo and up to 3 kilograms 25 francs per entrusts more than 3 and up to 5 kilograms 40 francs per entrusts more than 5 and up to 10 kilograms 55 francs per entrusts more than 10 and up to 15 kilograms.
ARTICLE 2. - To adopt resolution No. 8.478-S.I. of 29 May 1941 of the General Directorate of Posts and Telegraphs, by which it put into force for the Argentine service the modification referred to in the preceding article.
ARTICLE 3. - This decree shall be endorsed by the Secretaries of State in the Departments of the Interior and Foreign Affairs.
