Article 1. . Delárase national monument the historic convent of San Carlos, in the province of Santa Fe and the contiguous field to the monastery, where the battle of San Lorenzo was liberated. Consider this character the monument and votive lamp that honor the proceres of the battle of San Lorenzo.

The executive branch, through the National Commission of Museums and Monuments and Historic Places, will agree with the respective community the historical preservation of this national monument, ensuring the patriotic purposes of this law.
