The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:
ARTICLE 1 Incorporate into Act No. 11.723 Article 5o bis, which shall read as follows:Art. 5o bis: The intellectual property about its interpretations or executions set in phonograms corresponds to the performers for the period of SETENTA (70) years from 1 January of the year following that of its publication. In addition, intellectual property on phenograms corresponds to the producers of phenograms or their beneficiaries for the period of SETENTA (70) years from 1 January of the year following that of its publication. Phonograms and interpretations found in the public domain without the expiration of the periods of protection provided for in this law, shall automatically return to the private domain for the remaining period, and the third parties shall cease any form of use they had made during the time they were in the public domain.
