SUPERIOR EDUCATION Law 26.575 Créase la Universidad Nacional de Moreno en la Provincia de Buenos Aires. Sanctioned: December 2nd, 2009 Cast: December 29th, 2009

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:

ARTICLE 1 Créase the National University of Moreno, which will have its headquarters in the city of Moreno, province of Buenos Aires, and will be governed by the legal and regulatory provisions in force for national universities. ARTICLE 2 Given the need to promote socially, economically and culturally the seating area of the university and its area of influence; the institution arising from this law will privilege the implementation of short careers with practical training and high probability of insertion into the labour market, seeking to harmonize its careers with those already in force in other nearby universities. Article 3 The national executive branch shall designate a rector and an organizing commission to structure it academically and convene the first assembly to dictate its statute. The deadline for the organization and standardization may not exceed three (3) years. ARTICLE 4 The support of the National University of Moreno will be financed with the following resources:

1. The corresponding items set out in the annual budget for expenditures and resources of the Nation.

2. The additional resources that it obtains through the implementation of activities that permit the existing financing laws.

3. Legacies, donations, legacies of third parties and funds from public or private, national or international organizations.

ARTICLE 5o The expenses that demand the implementation of this law will be met with the specific provision of credit for the national universities that determine the Ministry of Education of the Nation until the inclusion of the National University of Moreno in the budget law, and with other resources that the National University of Moreno enters by any degree.
