The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:

ARTICLE 1o . Delárase al oro (Sallminus maxillosus) fish of national interest.

ARTICLE 2o . Protect the fishing of the gold (Sallminus maxillosus) in its natural environment for commercial purposes.

ARTICLE 3o El The Executive Power will take the necessary measures for the preservation and sustainability of the species mentioned in Article 1o.

ARTICLE 4o . Sport and subsistence fishing will be regulated by the enforcement authority of the corresponding jurisdiction.

ARTICLE 5o Las Offences to the prohibition set forth in Article 2 shall be punished with confiscation of the specimens of the species and a fine that shall be fixed annually by the application authority, which shall not be less than the fourfold of the amount of the fishing permits fixed for the species.

ARTICLE 6o . Invite the provincial governments and the City of Buenos Aires to adhere to this law.

ARTICLE 7or . Contact the national executive branch.
