The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:

DRAFT LAW ON EDUCATIONAL HUERTS ARTICLE 1 Consider the FEDERAL PROGRAMME of EDUCATIONAL HUERTS to be developed within the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, with agreement of the Federal Council for Culture and Education. ARTICLE 2 The Federal Educational Gardens Programme, through the creation of orchards in schools, aims to promote the appropriateness of knowledge and the generation of specific skills in students, as well as the production and provision of substantive nutritional elements, either through school dining rooms or other alternatives. It is also an objective of the Programme to promote and develop values such as teamwork, cooperation and solidarity. ARTICLE 3 The implementation of the programme set out in article 1 of this project will be carried out in all the country ' s educational establishments. ARTICLE 4 The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, with the agreement of the Federal Council for Culture and Education, will provide basic information and training for the implementation of the educational orchards of the FEDERAL PROGRAMME. ARTICLE 5° The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and the Federal Council for Culture and Education, shall establish by agreement with the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), the provision of adequate information for the specific purposes of this programme, based on the experience accumulated by the Precited Institute in its PRO HUERTA programme. ARTICLE 6 The products produced in the orchards will be intended primarily for the consumption of the members of the respective educational communities that produce them, as well as to the populations that are deprived of them. ARTICLE 7 The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the Federal Council for Culture and Education will determine the corresponding guidelines for the implementation of the Programme by promoting the participation of different actors in the educational community, i.e. teachers, assistants, parents and students.
