The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:
ARTICLE 1 Decline the 12th of July of each year as National Day of Social Medicine in commemoration of the date of birth of Dr. René G. Favaloro. ARTICLE 2 The Ministry of Education, in conjunction with the educational authorities of the various jurisdictions and within the Federal Council for Culture and Education, will agree to commemorate the National Day of Social Medicine in the schools of the Argentine Republic. ARTICLE 3 The Executive Power, through the Ministry of Health of the Nation, will implement in all institutions dependent on it, the events suitable for the realization of the homage to be paid on the date provided for in Article 1. ARTICLE 4 Invite provincial bodies with similar functions to implement the provisions of this law in their respective jurisdictions. ARTICLE 5° The Executive Power shall regulate this law within 30 days of its promulgation. ARTICLE 6 Contact the Executive.IN THE SESSION OF THE ARGENTINE CONGRESS, IN GOOD AIRES, TO THE VEINTS DAYS OF THE MONTH OF THE YEAR DOS MIL DOS.
