ECONOMIC SUBVERSION Law 25.602 Defeat Law No. 20.840. Amendment to article 174 of the Criminal Code.

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:

ARTICLE 1 Default of Act No. 20.840. ARTICLE 2 Add the following text as article 174 (6) of the Criminal Code:

Article 174, paragraph 6: The person who maliciously affects the normal development of a commercial, industrial, agricultural, mining or intended for the provision of services; destroys, damages, disappears, conceals or fraudulently diminishes the value of raw materials, products of any kind, machines, equipment or other capital goods. .

Article 3 Amend the last paragraph of article 174 of the Criminal Code to read as follows:

. In the cases of the preceding three subparagraphs, the culprit, if he or she is a public official or employee, will also suffer special perpetual disqualification. .

ARTICLE 4 Incorporate as article 174 bis of the Criminal Code the following: CHArticle 174 bis: He shall be repressed with imprisonment from six (6) months to two (2) years, who by imprudence or negligence or by violating the duties of his office, commits or provides his consent or contest for the conduct of the acts referred to in paragraph 6 of the preceding article. ARTICLE 5o The cases currently pending before the Federal Justice for the application of Act No. 20,840 will continue to be brought before the Court until the judgement is handed down with the authority of the case.
