Law:
ARTICLE 1 — Initial education for four (4) years in the national education system is compulsory.
ARTICLE 2 Replace article 16 of the National Education Act 26,206, which shall read as follows:
Article 16: School compulsory education throughout the country extends from the age of four (4) years to the end of the level of secondary education.
The Ministry of Education and the competent jurisdictional authorities will ensure that school compulsory education is enforced through institutional, pedagogical and rights promotion alternatives, which conform to local and community, urban and rural requirements, through actions to achieve results of equal quality throughout the country and in all social situations.
ARTICLE 3 — Replace article 18 of Act 26,206, which shall read as follows:
Article 18: Initial education is a pedagogical unit and comprises children from forty-five (45) days to five (5) years of age, including the last two (2) years.
ARTICLE 4 Replace article 19 of Act 26,206, which shall read as follows:
Article 19: The national State, the provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires have the obligation to universalize educational services for children of three (3) years of age, prioritizing the educational attention of the less-favoured sectors of the population.
ARTICLE 5 — Contact the national executive branch.
