PROMOTION REGIME OF BOVINA GANADERY IN RIDAY AND SEMIARIOUS ZONES
ARTICLE 1 — Refer to the Bovina Livestock Promotion Regime in Arid and Semi-arid Zones within the framework of the Federal Plan for the Bicentennial of Winners and Meats of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation, Resolution 24/2010, which shall be governed by the scope and limitations set forth in this rule, the present law and the complementary rules governing the production and modernization of the systems.
ARTICLE 2 The regime created by the previous article aims to increase in the arid and semi-arid zones of the whole national territory the supply of products and by-products of the bovine cattle ranching of meat to adequately supply the domestic and external market, both in quality and quantity, improving the productive efficiency, the commercial systems, information and the competitiveness of the business of products and by-products of the bovine species, preserving the environmental balances of these regions.
ARTICLE 3 — For the purposes of this law and its regulation shall be considered arid and semi-arid zones for the livestock production all those that the application authority defines, based on recognized aridity indexes.
ARTICLE 4 The Fund for the Promotion of Bovina Livestock in Arid and Semi-arid Zones is established as an additional item for the resources allocated to the Federal Plan for the Bicentennial of Winners and Carns for an annual amount of one hundred million pesos ($ 100,000.000) whose destination will be only for the bovine livestock production of arid and semi-arid areas defined in the preceding article.
