JUSTICE Law 26.707 A Federal Court and a Prosecutor ' s Office in Salta Province are established. Sanctioned: November 2, 2011 Cast: December 16, 2011 The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:
ARTICLE 1 — The Federal Court of First Instance of Tartagal, Salta province, with multiple jurisdiction over the departments of Rivadavia and San Martín, Salta province, was amended by article 2 of Act No. 23.112.
ARTICLE 2 — The Federal Court of Tartagal will have four (4) secretariats; two (2) with criminal jurisdiction, one (1) with civil, commercial, labour, administrative content, and social security, and one (1) with tax and tax criminal jurisdiction.
ARTICLE 3o — One (1) first instance prosecution and one (1) official public defender shall act before the federal court established by this law.
ARTICLE 4o — Refer to the first instance charges of judge, secretaries, prosecutor, public defender, officials and employees listed in the annex as part of this Act.
ARTICLE 5o — Modify the territorial jurisdiction of the Federal Court of First Instance of San Ramon de la Nueva Orán, province of Salta, which, starting with the commencement of the court established by this law, shall not exercise jurisdiction over the departments of Rivadavia and San Martín, province of Salta, which are listed in article 1 of the present Law, the second article of Law 23.112.
ARTICLE 6o — The Federal Chamber of Appeals of Salta will be the High Court of the Federal Court of Tartagal.
ARTICLE 7o — This law shall be implemented once the budgetary provision is made for the attention of the expenditure that its object demands, which shall be charged to the budgets of the Judiciary of the Nation, the Public Prosecutor ' s Office and the Public Ministry of Defence.
ARTICLE 8o — The Council of the Magistracy of the Nation, in the exercise of its functions, shall provide for the installation and operation of the federal court established by this law.
ARTICLE 9o — The Public Prosecutor ' s Office and the Public Prosecutor ' s Office shall provide for the installation and operation of the Office of the Public Prosecutor and the Public Defender ' s Office established by this Act.
ARTICLE 10. - Upon the entry into force of the Federal Court of Tartagal, pending cases shall be referred to it under the territorial jurisdiction prescribed by this Act.
ARTICLE 11. - Judges, officials and employees who are appointed to serve in the judicial organs and the Public Prosecutor ' s Office established by this Act shall only take possession of their respective positions when the financial condition established in article 7 of this Act is given.
