WE'RE GOING Law 27557 Act No. 23.968. Modification. The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force
Law:
Article 1- Incorporate as second paragraph of Article 6 of Law 23.968 on Maritime Spaces, the following:
The outer boundary of the Continental Argentine continental and insular Platform, according to the geographical coordinates points set out in Annex III of the present.
Article 2°- The points RA-01 to RA-481 and RA-3458 to RA-3840 of ANNEX III referred to in Article 1 are demarcated on the basis of the Recommendations of the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf (CLPC), in the terms of Article 76(8) of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea of 10 December 1982.
The points RA-482 to RA-3457 of ANNEX III referred to in Article 1 and which is accompanied by this, are demarcated on the basis of the presentation of Argentina to the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf (CLPC), and are pending recommendations in the terms of Point 5.a of Annex I to the Rules of Procedure of the Commission.
The points RA-3841 to RA-6336 of the continental shelf for the Argentine Antarctic Sector, referred to in the Argentina Presentation to the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf (CLPC), are in the situation provided for in article 1, paragraph 3, of Law 23.968 on Maritime Spaces.
Article 3. This measure will enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Argentine Republic.
