Law on modification of article 10 of the regulation of Application No. 4 of the Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social since the General Council in its session of December 12, 1996 has approved the following: law on modification of article 10 of the regulation of Application No. 4 of the Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social preamble The Board of Directors of the Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social is renewed every four years through an electoral process established by the regulations in force.

Once approved the Constitution of the Principality of Andorra in 1993, it is necessary to adapt the rules on social security in the new framework defined by the Magna Carta. Despite the efforts focused in the last years to carry out this task, it has reached the deadline to renew the Board of Directors without having completed the reform regulations.

Considering that the current procedure for the members of the Board of Directors of the Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social is contradicted by the constitutional spirit, and given the advanced development of the corresponding legislation reform;

Considering, too, need to be on the Board of Directors is formed according to new regulations, approves the law on modification of article 10 of the regulation of Application No. 4 of the Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social.

Article 1 Is repealed as article 10 of the regulation of Application No.

4 of the Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social.

Article 2 The term of Office of the Board of Directors of the Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social which began at the end of 1992 is extended until 31 December 1997 at the latest.

Before the end of the period indicated in the preceding paragraph, the General Council shall define the composition and the modalities of appointment or election of the new Board of Directors.

Final provision this law comes into force the day of its publication in the official bulletin of the Principality of Andorra.
