Law 52/2010, from June 30, additional credit for dealing with the reduction of 20% of the price of the credits of the registrations of the University of Andorra since the General Council in its session of June 30, 2010 has approved the following: Law 52/2010, of 30 June, credit supplement to deal with the reduction of 20% of the price of the credits of the registrations of the University of Andorra
Preamble in accordance with the contract between the Government of Andorra and the University of Andorra 2010-2012, signed on 16 April 2009, which came into force on January 1, 2010, the Government has to deal with this year in the expenses arising from the financing of the University training tasks that lead to a degree of State, of the trainings in collaboration with the Government and the research activities , which are the basic functions of the University, as defined by law 12/2008, of June 12, of higher education. Also included in the funding of the University the social dimension of activities carried out in collaboration with the Government.
Subsequent to the time when it drew up the budget 2010, the Secretary of State for higher education, reported the University of Andorra will reduce by 20% the price of the license plate of the European University of the tasks that lead to state titles corresponding to the academic year 2010-2011, with the intention of making them more accessible. This reduction will apply for both the person and the virtual.
This decrease of the price of European credit fees means that the University of Andorra must face the same volume of expenses, but will have a volume of income from fees that will be 20% lower than the amount foreseen in the Budget 2010.
Seen that the character of urgency and need of financing to compensate for this reduction of income is justified by the fact that the publication of the decree with the reduction of the prices of credits for fees for the next academic year 2010-2011 will mean a decrease of revenue of the University of Andorra in 2010, and therefore need a alternative funding to deal with the expenses provided for in the draft budget of this exercise;
Seen the report of the General intervention;
Seen the governmental agreement of April 28, 2010;
Article 1 approves a charge of credit for an amount of 116,298 euros for the budget base higher education Department 580-581 area of University Affairs-University of Andorra 48207-0028 PROJ University of Andorra.
Article 2 This credit fee is financed by the budgetary as well: 120 General Secretariat of Government-General Secretariat Services 120-10000 and Political Ambassadors-PROJ-0001 PG Secretariat of Government, for a total of 100,000 euros 730 Prevenc. and Extinc. fire and rescue-730 org. Exec. Prev. Extin. Fire and rescue-22200 telephone services-PROJ-0001 Prev. and Ext. and rescue, by an amount of EUR 260 15,411 Department of tourism-Tourism 260-10010 staff of special relationship-PROJ-0017 planning of the tourism sector, for a total of 887 euros.
Final provision this law enters into force on the same day to be published in the official bulletin of the Principality of Andorra.
