§ 42-17.1-19 Notification by director.
Prior to a hearing at which the director of environmental management seeks to
adopt, modify, or repeal standards for air quality, water quality, groundwater
quality, or individual sewage disposal systems, the director shall notify the
chairperson of the joint committee on water resources and the chairperson of
the joint committee on environment and energy of the general assembly and the
directors of the departments of administration and health and provide them with
copies of the proposed standards. In addition, the director shall annually
provide the general assembly with a copy of all standards and regulations
adopted by the department in the previous calendar year.
