      NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS

151B.035 requires the Executive Director of the Office of Career and Technical

Education to promulgate comprehensive administrative regulations for full-time

and part-time certified and equivalent staff, governing hours of work,

including annual and sick leave. This administrative regulation establishes

annual and sick leave transfer credits.

 

      Section 1.(1) An employee of a local

school district who transfers to become an employee of the Department of

Education after June 30, 1983, and subsequently to the Office of the Career and

Technical Education on July 1, 1990, or who transferred to the Office of the

Career Technical Education after July 1, 1990, shall transfer accrued sick

leave.

      (2) The employee shall be allocated

credit for each year of experience in the local school system for the purposes

of determining the rate of accumulation of annual and sick leave in the Office
