PAY-PER-CALL SERVICES
§
2510. Pay-per-call fulfillment services
It shall be an
unlawful practice for a sponsor to sell or offer for sale pay-per-call services
that involve provision of value-added information (not product sales) with a
supplemental tangible item sent free of charge to the customer after the
completion of the call unless all advertisements and promotions for such
services include:
(1) an 800
number or business name and full address for callers to obtain additional
information or to follow up on items not yet received; and
(2) the true
market value of the item to be sent free of charge and a complete and accurate
description of the item. (Added 1993, No. 99, § 2.)
