County planning commission--members--term--expenses--chairman (certain first class counties).

64.020. Such county planning commission shall consist of one of the

commissioners of the county commission selected by the county commission, the

county highway engineer, the chairman of two municipal planning bodies in the

county to be appointed by the county commission, all of whom shall serve

during their tenure of office not to exceed four years, and six residents of

the unincorporated territory of the county to be appointed by the county

commission. The term of said six appointed members shall be four years or

until their successor takes office except that the original term of three of

said six appointed members shall be two years. All members of the county

planning commission shall serve as such without compensation; but an

attendance fee as reimbursement for expenses may be paid to the appointed

members of the county planning commission in an amount, as set by the county

commission, not to exceed ten dollars per meeting for not over two meetings

per month. The planning commission shall elect its chairman from among the

appointed members.
