What happens if I fail to respond to a request for information about athletic employment?

(1) If your eligibility for benefits is based on employment as a participant in sports or athletic events and you do not respond to a request for information, the department will presume you have reasonable assurance of performing similar services in the upcoming season.
(2) The department will deny benefits under RCW 50.20.113. This denial applies to the entire period between sporting seasons.
