Can nurse delegation core and specialized diabetes training occur in the same year as basic training?









Nurse delegation core and specialized diabetes training can occur in the same year as basic training if required to be able to perform delegated tasks. If this occurs, the maximum of twelve hours for this training can be applied towards the continuing education requirement for the following year. Nurse delegation core and specialized diabetes trainings do not apply towards the basic training.
