   § 30-17.1-6  Establishment of division

director. –

There is hereby established within the executive branch of government and the

department of human services a director of the division of veterans' affairs.

The director of the division of veterans' affairs shall be a person qualified

through experience and training and shall be an honorably discharged war

veteran of the United States armed forces. The director of the division of

veterans' affairs shall report directly to the director of the department of

human services and be in the unclassified service.
