SECTION 5-63.2-23



   § 5-63.2-23  Penalties for violations.

–

(a) It is a misdemeanor for any person, in offering his or her services to the

public to:



   (1) Use in connection with his or her name any designation

tending to imply that he or she is a licensed clinical mental health counselor

and/or licensed marriage and family therapist unless licensed under the

provisions of this chapter;



   (2) Use in connection with his or her name any designation

tending to imply that he or she is a licensed clinical mental health counselor

and/or licensed marriage and family therapist during the time his or her

license issued under the provisions of this chapter is suspended or revoked;



   (3) Violate any of the provisions of this chapter.



   (b) All the misdemeanors shall be punishable by a fine of not

more than five hundred dollars ($500) for each offense.
