SECTION 42-13-1.1



   § 42-13-1.1  Flag personnel and police

officers for state highway projects. –

The director of the department of transportation, or his or her designee, shall

have the power with respect to all state highway and bridge projects to

determine the necessity for and the number of civilian flag personnel or police

officers, as the requirements of highway safety may dictate, at the discretion

of the director or his or her designee.
