SECTION 12-10-9



   § 12-10-9  Adjournment of trial or

examination. –

The district court may adjourn any trial or examination pending before it, from

time to time, not exceeding fourteen (14) days at any one time, except with the

consent or at the request of the accused, and to the same or to a different

place in the same division.
