The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and Section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990(2) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Gwent Community Health National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1995 and shall come into force on 1st November 1995.

Amendment of NHS Trust Establishment Order

2.  In Article 4 of the Gwent Community Health National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992(3) for “5 non-executive” there shall be substituted “4 non-executive” and for “5 executive” there shall be substituted “4 executive”.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the constitution of an NHS Trust established by Order under Part I of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990, by decreasing the number of executive and non-executive directors from 5 to 4 in each case.
