The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 19(3) of the Fire Services Act 1947(1), as read with section 36(16A) of that Act, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation, extent and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Fire Services (Notification of Establishment Schemes) (Scotland) Regulations 1995, shall extend to Scotland only and shall come into force on 31st December 1995.

Prescribed dates

2.  For the purposes of section 19(3) of the Fire Services Act 1947, the date on which every fire authority shall notify the Secretary of State of the establishment scheme in force in their area on 31st March each year is 30th April in the same year.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations prescribe the date on which every fire authority in Scotland is required to notify the Secretary of State of the establishment scheme in force in their area on 31st March each year.
The Regulations prescribe 30th April in each year as the date on which notification must be made.
