The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990(2) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, on the application of Scunthorpe Community Health Care National Health Service Trust(3), and after completion of the consultation prescribed under paragraph 29(3) of Schedule 2 to the latter Act(4), hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Scunthorpe Community Health Care National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st October 1999.
Dissolution of NHS trust
2. The Scunthorpe Community Health Care National Health Service Trust established by the Scunthorpe Community Health Care National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992(5) is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.

Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order provides for the dissolution on 1st October 1999 of the Scunthorpe Health Care National Health Service Trust.
