The Special Immigration Appeals Commission Act 1997 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 9(2) of the Special Immigration Appeals Commission Act 1997(1) the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:

1.  This Order may be cited as the Special Immigration Appeals Commission Act 1997 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1998.

2.  The provisions of the Special Immigration Appeals Commission Act 1997 not already in force(2) shall come into force on 3rd August 1998.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force on 3rd August 1998 those provisions of the Special Immigration Appeals Commission Act 1997 not already in force.
