The Traffic Director for London, in accordance with a direction given to him by the Secretary of State under section 58(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1991(1) and in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(2), and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order:—

Commencement and citation

1.  This Order may be cited as The A12 Trunk Road (Redbridge) Red Route Traffic Order 1996 Variation (No. 2) Order 1998, and shall come into force on 26th January 1998.

Amendments

2.  The A12 Trunk Road (Redbridge) Red Route Traffic Order 1996(3) is varied as provided by the following provisions of this Order.

3.  In the table in Schedule 2B a new item is added as follows

Eastern Avenue—south side, between a point 1.5 metres south-east of the party wall of Nos. 954 and 956 Eastern Avenue and a point 2.5 metres north-east of the party wall of Nos. 962 and 964 Eastern Avenue.

40 minutes

4.  In the table in Schedule 3A item 2 is amended as follows—

“Between a point 1.0 metre south-west of the party wall of Nos. 948 and 950 Eastern Avenue and a point 1.5 metres north-east of the party wall of Nos. 954 and 956 Eastern Avenue.”
