The Road Traffic (Special Parking Area) (London Borough of Haringey) (Amendment) Order 1997

Whereas the council of the London borough of Haringey has applied to the Secretary of State for Transport for an order to be made under section 76 of the Road Traffic Act 1991(1) and the Secretary of State has consulted the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with section 76(2) of that Act:

NOW, the Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 76(1) and section 77(6) of Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Special Parking Area) (London Borough of Haringey) (Amendment) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 2nd February 1997.

Amendment of the Road Traffic (Special Parking Area) (London Borough of Haringey) Order 1994

2.  The Schedule to the Road Traffic (Special Parking Area) (London Borough of Haringey) Order 1994(2) shall be amended in accordance with the Schedule to this Order.

Regulation 2

SCHEDULEAMENDMENTS TO SCHEDULE TO THE ROAD TRAFFIC (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY) ORDER 1994

1.  For paragraph 3 there shall be substituted—

“3.  A503 between its junction with the A10 and the borough boundary with the London borough of Hackney.”

2.  Paragraph 64 shall be omitted

3.  Paragraphs 76 to 111 shall be omitted.

4.  After paragraph 148 there shall be inserted—

“Roads adjacent to A503

149.  Un-named service road fronting Seven Sisters underground station between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 15m north of the northern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

150.  Suffield Road between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m north of the northern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

151.  Stonebridge Road (East) between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m south of the southern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

152.  Stonebridge Road (West) between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m south of the southern kerbline of the Seven Sisters Road.

153.  Westfield Road between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m north of the northern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

154.  Birstall Road between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m north of the northern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

155.  Greenfield Road between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m north of the northern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

156.  Elizabeth Road between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m north of the northern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

157.  Durnford Road between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m south of the southern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

158.  Culvert Road between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m north of the northern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

159.  Gourley Street between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 20m south of the southern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

160.  St Anns Road (north-west) between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m north-west of the north-western kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

161.  St Anns Road (south-east) between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

162.  Albert Road between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 25m south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

163.  Moreton Road between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m north-west of the north-western kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

164.  Candler Street between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

168.  Netherton Road between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m north-west of the north-western kerbline of Seven Sisters Road.

169.  Vartry Road between its junction with Seven Sisters Road (A503) and a point 40m south-east of the south-eastern kerbline and Seven Sisters Road.”

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Schedule to the Road Traffic (Special Parking Area) (London Borough of Haringey) Order 1994 by deleting certain roads from the list of roads excluded from the special parking area designated by that Order and adding other roads to the list.
