CIVIL AVIATION ACT 1990



In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the
Minister of Civil Aviation, with the consent of Cabinet, makes the
following Regulations —

1.

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Aviation (Aerodromes and
Licensing Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 2002.

(2) The Civil Aviation (Aerodromes and Licensing Charges) Regulations
1996, as amended, are in these Regulations referred to as the
Principal Regulations.

2. The Principal Regulations are amended by inserting a new regulation after
Regulation 18:

“18A. A fee of $250 shall be payable for the issue, renewal or replacement
of any licence, rating or approval and an application fee may be
charged as from time to time published in the Gazette.”

3. Regulation 19 of the Principal Regulations is amended by deleting “50” and
“25” and replacing them with “100” and “50” respectively.

4. Regulation 23 of the Principal Regulations is amended by deleting “25” and
replacing with “$50” and in line 2 the words “or licence” are deleted.

5. The Principal Regulations are amended by inserting a new regulation after
Regulation 24:

“25 AIRPORT IDENTITY CARD
(1) The Minister may issue Airport Identity Cards.

(2) A fee of $50 shall be payable for the issue or replacement of an
Airport Identity Card.

(3) The Airport Identity Card shall contain the following:
(i) Card Number;
(ii) Name, signature and photograph of the holder;
(iii) Occupation;
(iv) Date of Issue and Expiry;
(v) Issuing Authority; and
(vi) Access Code.”
