AN ACT FOR THE APPROPRIATION OF THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY-FIVE MILLION, ONE HUNDRED AND

NINETY THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY-ONE DOLLARS FOR AND TOWARDS DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE

GOVERNMENT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS FOR CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR

ENDING 30TH JUNE, 2014 [DateofAssent-l"July,2013]

Enacted by the Parliament of The Bahamas

1. Short title .

This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Capital Development) (2013/2014) Act, 2013.

2. Interpretation.

In this Act, "development expenditure" means expenditure for capital development within The Bahamas.

3. Authority for payment.

(1) There may be paid out of the Treasury upon the authority of a warrant under the baud of the Minister of Finauce during the fmancial year beginning on the 1" day of July, 2013 and ending on the 3 Ofu day of June, 2014, the several sums of money in respect of development expenditure set forth in the Schedule.

(2) In the financial year referred to in subsection (1), not more than two hundred and ninety-five million, one hundred and ninety thousand, two hundred and sixty-one dollars, may be paid in total under the provisions of this section.
