PLANTS PROTECTION (RESTRICTION ON
IMPORTS OF FRUITS, VEGETABLES, FLOWERS,

PLANTS AND OTHER PROPAGATIVE MATERIALS)
(PINK MEALYBUG) ORDER

(SECTION 5)
[Commencement 15th August, 1997]

1. This Order may be cited as the Plants Protection
(Restriction on Imports of Fruits, Vegetables, Flowers, Plants
and other Propagative Materials) (Pink Mealybug) Order.

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —
“declared country” means a country referred to in the

Schedule.
3. No person shall import into The Bahamas, either

directly or indirectly, from any declared country, any
Fruits, Vegetables, Flowers, Plants or other Propagative
Materials.

CANKER) ORDER

(SECTION 5)
[Commencement 28th January, 2005]

1. This Order may be cited as the Plants Protection
(Restriction on the Movement of Seeds, Fruits, Plants and
other Propagative Materials) (Citrus Canker) Order.

2. The island of Abaco in The Bahamas is hereby
declared to be a place infected with the citrus canker
disease.

3. No person shall remove from the island of
Abaco in The Bahamas any seed, fruit, plant or other
propagative material of a citrus plant.
