| AN ACT TO AMEND THE APPROPRIATION ACT, NO. 61 OF 1993. | | |

| BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows:- | |

Short title.
| 1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Amendment) Act, No. 24 of 1994. | Amendment of section 2 of Act, No. 61 of 1993.
| 2. Section 2 of the Appropriation Act, No. 61 of 1993, is hereby amended in paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of that section, by the substitution for the words " rupees sixty-nine thousand nine hundred and eighty-seven million five hundred and five thousand. ", of the words " rupees eighty-seven thousand million." | Sinhala text to prevail in case of inconsistency.
| 3. In the event of any Inconsistency between the Sinhala and Tamil texts of this Act, the Sinhala text shall prevail. | |
