| AN ACT TO AMEND THE APPROPRIATION ACT, NO. 6 OF 2000 | | |

| BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows:" | |

Short Title.
| 1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Amendment) Act, No. 57 of 2000. | Amendment of section 2 of Act 1. No. 6 of 2000.
| 2. Section 2 of the Appropriation Act, No. 6 of 2000 as amended by the Appropriation (Amendment) Act, No. 32 of 2000 is hereby further amended in paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of that section, by the substitution for the words "rupees one hundred and eighty nine thousand twenty three million" of the words "rupees two hundred and fourteen thousand twenty three million". | Sinhala text to prevail in case of inconsistency.
| 3. In the event of any inconsistency between the Sinhala and Tamil texts of this Act, the Sinhala text shall prevail. | |
